Barring any unforeseen circumstances, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to sign the Electoral Act Amendment Bill 2021 on Friday.
Presidency sources also confirmed that the President would be signing the bill into law at about 12 noon on Friday.
The National Assembly has transmitted the Electoral Act Amendment Bill 2021 to Buhari on January 31 for the  second time, having revised the bill, which Buhari withheld his assent to for certain reasons.
But the Presidential sources have disclosed  that necessary  arrangements had been finalised for Buhari  to sign the re-amendment electoral bill into law on Friday.
