The Sokoto State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) ,Tuesday, paraded four suspects who specializes in the production of fake currency notes in naira and CFA.
Parading the suspects, the State NSCDC Commandant, Muhammad Saleh Dada, disclosed that the suspects include Tasiu Jelani (30), Yusuf Aminu (20), Shamsu Sanusi (32) and Isiya Umar (30).
According to Dada, the suspects specialized in producing fake naira and CFA notes whilst circulating the same counterfeits to defraud innocent traders.
Exhbits found on them include N5million and another 2 million CFA.
Giving insight into the arrest, the NDCSC Commandant said it was as a result of credible intelligence by their men in the Sokoto North division.
The Command spokesperson, DSC Hamza Adamu Illela, also disclosed that the suspects will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigation.
He also quoted the Commandant as appealing to members of the public to be wary of such people in their midst.
