census, enumerators, NPC

The Federal Government has disclosed that the 2023 National Census slated for May 3 to 7 is on course, saying that the National Population Commission (NPC’s) training for enumerators and supervisors has been postponed indefinitely

The NPC enumerators and supervisors’ training ahead of the 2023 national census was earlier slated for April 13 before the postponement.

The NPC’s Chairman. of the Census Committee, Ipalibo Harry, disclosed the development in Abuja on Wednesday.

Harry further said that a new date for training the enumerators and supervisors would be communicated as soon as possible.

The Census Committee Chairman also assured that the postponement would not affect the conduct of the population and housing census scheduled to hold from May 3 to 7.

Harry also explained that the NPC was ready to conduct a credible census, adding that the commission had already concluded the training of quality data managers and others.
