The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal sitting at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, on Monday, dismissed the request of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), seeking for live broadcast of its proceedings.
A five-member panel of the court led by Justice Haruna Tsammani also held that the application lacked merit.
It is instructive to note that Atiku made the request on May 7.
According to Atiku, the request to televise the proceedings will enhance public confidence.
