Abba Moro

It is an undebatable godly statement from the Holy books that when the importance and purpose of a substance is not succinctly defined, abuse and mismanagement of the content at one’s disposal is inevitable.

Over the years, our inability to genuinely appraise the strength and potential of mega resources in our barn has led to untapped-harnessing, opportunities-trampled, impeccable missions truncated, fixing of round peg in a round hole became a herculean task; and space for merit suffocated and compromised.

The present deplorable, ineptitude state of our socio-economic development is mostly affiliated to the modus operandi of assigning responsibilities to people who do not have the capacity to handle the magnitude of task at their front burner, leading to trade in grievances, buck passing and censorious commentary.

The Idoma nation is one endowed with resources (material and human resources),great leaders, intellectuals, beautiful and endowed women, fertile and arable land, good vegetation and what have you.

Without prejudice, campaign of calumny, hate and bitterness but with fervency, honesty, and loyalty to our conscience and on issue based projections, who amongst the candidates contesting for Benue South Senatorial Office have the sagacity, doggedness, courage and credibility to represent us efficiently at the Red Chamber?

Let us be mindful of the fact that Benue Zone C has just one senator to represent our nine Local Government Areas We are already being deprived of Governor’s seat in our own state and subjected to jettison and maladministration.

It will be a colossal mishap and retrogression on us not to project and elect a candidate with virile, outstanding and a robust political resume that will match the astute and doyen candidates from zone A and B respectfully.

The luxury of electing a xerophyte initiator, docile political juvenile, doldrums, bench warmer and a feeble puppet who may not be independently minded is too expensive for us to carry along in our democratic dispensation to Nigeria’s 10th National Assembly.

Sequel to the legislative activities and structures of the National Assembly, a ranking senator is of great advantage to his or her constituency when it comes to allocation of positions of responsibilities, honour and other appurtenances.

Though, this may sound like a unicameral appraisal subject to public forensic opinion, but based on the precedence and parameters displayed in the legacy showroom of those contesting for senatorial position, I think we should give senator Abba Moro a chance to continue the good works he has started.

This is also a passionate call for all sons and daughters of Idoma nation especially our elders, leaders to come together, lay down their weapons (envy and jealousy) unforgiveness, revenge and embrace peace, unity and dialogue in order to form a formidable team that will bequeath to the younger generations a prosperous, healthy and egalitarian Idoma nation.

There’s no revenge so sweet as forgiveness.

It may not change the past, but it surely brightens the future.
Hatred, bitterness, rancor, anger and revenge are luxuries too expensive for us to afford in Benue South Politics.

Politics is not a battle field, so we must avoid bickering and rise up above petty differences and face the challenges of strengthening and building Idoma dynasty.

Senator Abba Moro is an Orator, a Consummate team player, a reformer of defunct institutions and someone who has contributed immensely to the socio economic development of the Idoma nation especially in infrastructure and human development.

To a large extent, he has performed above board in this first tenure by sponsoring several bills; motions and he has facilitated several developmental projects to Benue Zone C so he deserves our accolade.

Some of the Bills he sponsored as a first time Senator are;

He has on behalf of his Constituents submitted several other petitions, and facilitated as well as executed infrastructural developments across the Zone, his proactive responses to distress calls and empowerment of youths is monumental and second to none in Benue South.

Moro is quite a winsome, alluring and a courageous leader who is decisive on his core objectives, tolerant with his followers, meticulous with his choice of words while discharging his duties without bellyaching his peers.

His oratory skills have always left his audience with hope, inspiration, good sense of humor albert he never failed to make serious points on ethics, discipline, respect for human rights and privileges wherever and whenever he communicates.

Comrade Senator Abba Moro, based on antecedent has excelled creditably in all positions he ever held and have passed moderately in his integrity test.

Senator Moro’s records of performance especially when he held sway as the Hon. Minister of Interior are conspicuously displayed in the achievers showroom for us to appraise and emulate.

Idoma nation, irrespective of our political or religious affiliations, it is high time we guard and present our fertile minds for quality delivery of dividends of democracy.

In this dispensation, Senator Abba Moro’s scorecard and unprecedented political pedigree speaks volume and is quite plausible and noble to go for us again.

Let’s join hands to fortify and sustain Idoma dynasty by re- electing Comrade Senator Abba Moro for Senate come 2023 general elections.
