* Angel’s mother reacts, says she’ll stand by daughter
Big Brother Naija “Shine Ya Eyes” Housemates – Maria, Nini and Peace – are under fire for slut-shaming a younger housemate, Angel.
In the BBN executive lounge, the trio took gossiping to greater heights and discussed about their fellow housemates without caution.
The three women seemed to have problems with some housemates like Cross, Pere and Angel.
Angel seemed to be the main topic as the three women chatted about the 21-year -old writer. According to Nini, Michael confessed that Angel has the “dirtiest vagina.”
Nini further threw decorum to dustbin when she said, “Angel has the worst, dirtiest and nastiest vagina”
Maria also pointed out that Angel has been “cheapening” herself for the other men in the house. According to Maria, Michael sees Angel as a “prostitute.”
Maria seemed to be upset about the scolding Big Brother gave her in the diary room last week.
She also slut-shamed Angel in Big Brothers presence, which warranted a scolding from Biggie.
She made excuses for the boys with the popular rhetoric “Boys will Boys”, while Biggie responded with “Angel will be Angel”, shutting Maria up.
Maria, Nini and Peace, however continued that rhetoric in the executive lounge while speaking about Angel.
Incidentally, the social media has responded to the trio’s gossips and slut-shaming. They are also under fire for promoting the harmful rhetoric that boys can be excused for excessive sexual behavior while women cannot enjoy the privilege.
The three housemates banter did not stop at Angel as they also shamed the men in the house. The women confessed that although the men are physically attractive, their personalities are not at par with them. This development also led to an uproar on the social media.
Meanwhile, Angel’s mother, Titi, has reacted to the unsavoury comments on her daughter by Maria, Nini and Peace, saying that she will stand by her daughter, no matter the situation.
Titi, who reacted to the nasty comments against her daughter, stated that it’s a shame that “so much hate” is coming from women against her 21-year-old daughter.
She added that she will always be there for her daughter even when the whole world is against her.
She said; “Too much hate coming from women on a 21-year- old girl. What a shame to all the aunties hating how market nah cruise we dey cruise don’t take it too personal.
