National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has won the presidential primary of the ruling party to emerge as the presidential candidate of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The former Lagos State Governor defeated other aspirants with a wide margin of 1,271 votes to emerge victorious at the end the voting exercise.

His closest rival and immediate former Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, scored a distant votes of 316 while Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) came third with 236 votes.
