Operatives of the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abuja, have arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters.
They were arrested in Abuja on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Kubwa axis of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
Items seized from them include 12 phones, 2 cars, 1 iPad, 1 laptop and 3 exotic wristwatches.
When contacted, the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the development.
Oyewale added that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
