Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Saturday, filed out to monitor the governorship election in Ondo State.
According to a statement by the Spokesman to the EFCC, Dele Oyewale, monitoring exercise is aimed at checkmating voters’ inducement or other form of electoral offences.
Oyewale added that the exercise is also meant to ensure utmost integrity of the electoral processes.
The statement reads in part, “Operatives are all over the state in line with the mandate of the Commission to prevent, investigate and prosecute all forms of economic and financial crimes.
