Alia

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has urged Muslim faithful to always spread the message of love, sacrifice, tolerance and unity as preached by the Holy Prophet as they commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

The Benue Governor, in a massage issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula described the Eid as a significant spiritual event in the Muslim Calendar.

He charged Muslims to continually pray for the Federal and State Governments as they strive to deliver the dividends to the people.

Governor Alia urged them to “continue to pray and support his administration and that of the President Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government, as it strives hard to fulfil its electoral mandate to the people.

“He expressed optimism that the state and country will surely overcome its current challenges.

“The Governor wishes the Muslim faithful a Happy Eid Mubarak celebration.”
