A brilliant Nigerian lady, Chikire Aku-Ibe, has achieved a remarkable milestone by graduating with a first-class degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Nigeria.

With an outstanding CGPA of 4.72/5.00, she emerged as the Best Female Graduating Student in her department and the School of Electrical Systems Engineering and Technology (SESET).

Chikire’s academic journey began in 2018 when she was named the Best WASSCE Science Student at Federal Government College, Owerri according to her LinkedIn. She excelled in her exams, scoring 316/400 in JAMB, 304/400 in post-UTME, and 6 As and 3 Bs in WASSCE.

At FUTO, she earned numerous honors, including Best Female Graduating Student in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Best Female Graduating Student in the School of Electrical Systems Engineering and Technology (SESET)

Chikire also won the award of the Third Overall Best Female Graduating Student at FUTO, Two Dean’s Awards for Academic Excellence and Achieved a perfect 5.00 GPA in three semesters.

Chikire’s academic excellence earned her several scholarships, including the Federal Government Scholarship, MTN Foundation Scholarship, and Prof. Celestine Onwuliri Memorial Scholarship (2018/2019).
