Prominent Nigerians, including the Chief of Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, legal luminary, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), Obi of Onitsha, HRH Nnaemeka Achebe, Chairman of Eleganza Group, Alhaji Rasaq Okoya, Founder of The Delborough Lagos, Dr Stanley Uzochukwu and other personalities, on Sunday , hosted two members of British royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan.
The British royal couple and some of their aides were received at the prestigious The Delborough, Lagos with pomp and circumstance.
They were also received with an energetic cultural display at the hotel in Lagos to their admiration.
Prince Harry and his wife are on a three-day visit to Nigeria to promote his humanitarian enterprise, the Invictus Games.
The Duke of Sussex founded Invictus Games 10 years ago to help bring wounded veterans into sporting activities with a view to healing their physical, mental and psychological wounds and trauma.
Some of the highlights of the event included fundraising for the building of an international sporting complex for the veterans in Abuja.
