Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has received Hon. Abiodun Faleke, member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Ikeja Local Government Area, Lagos State and his team who condoled with him over the death of his mother, the late Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Baribari.
During the visit, Faleke expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God for blessing the family with a mother who lived to the remarkable age of 93.
He said, “We are especially grateful that Allah called her home during this holy month of fasting. We appreciate God allowing her to witness your rise to Governor. Wherever she is now, she must be proud, not just that you became Governor, but that you’re excelling in office.”
The legislator also praised the Governor’s leadership, noting, “As APC members, we’re extremely proud of your grassroots leadership and outstanding performance–which comes as no surprise to those who know you.”
Responding, the Katsina State Deputy Governor, Faruk Lawal Jobe, acknowledged Faleke’s visit and solidarity.
He expressed deep appreciation for the condolence message and prayers for the repose of the Governor’s mother’s soul.
The Deputy Governor also took the opportunity to outline the state government’s achievements, noting that in less than two years, the administration has executed projects in every ward, delivered interventions and palliatives to all 6,654 polling units and ensured equitable distribution of resources across 34 local governments and 361 wards
Faleke and the Deputy Governor united in their prayers, seeking divine mercy and guidance for the bereaved family and the state’s leadership.
