…Sen Abubakar Kyari now Ag Chair, Festus Fuanter Ag Secretary
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed the resignation of the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and the National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore.
The APC NWC confirmed the development on Monday after its crucial meeting at the party National Secretariat in Abuja.
Their resignation was announced during the NWC meeting chaired by Senator Abubakar Kyari.
Kyari also revealed that he has taken over as Acting Chairman while Deputy National Secretary, Barrister Festus Fuanter takes over as Acting Secretary.
The new leadership also announced the postponement of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings that was earlier scheduled to hold on Tuesday and Wednesday.
