The first batch of Nigerians fleeing Sudan are set to leave from Egypt via a flight operated by the Nigerian Air Force with its C130 aircraft.
The good news was shared via Twitter by the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
The tweet, accompanied by a video, read: “EVACUATION UPDATE:
“NAF C 130 prepares to depart to Egypt to evacuate Nigerian Nationals stranded in Sudan.
“They are going with a lot of dry food, water, Medications, etc.
“Our Prayers are with them.
