Spokesperson to Osun State Governor. Olawale Rasheed, has faulted the alleged plans by Governor Ademola Adeleke to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and join the African Democratic Congress (ADC), saying that the media report is false, baseless and misleading.
He added that there is no iota of truth in the statement credited to the Osun State APC chairman that Governor Adeleke is negotiating with former Governor Rauf Aregbesola about joining the ADC and urged the general public to discountenance the media report.
Olawale stated this in a statement made available to TheIdeal News on Thursday while reacting to the purported movement of Governor Adeleke from the PDP to the ADC.
Debunking the media report, the Spokesperson to Osun Governor said, “ The report is false and the entire assertions by the opposition are mere fabrication and fake news.
“Governor Adeleke is not negotiating with former Governor Aregbesola about ADC and the governor is not joining ADC.
“The members of the public are hereby implored to ignore the fake news from the pit of hell.”
