The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Wednesday morning, concluded the presentation of results from the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
With the collation process ending with results from Imo State, the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, called for a break.
Announcing the break, Yakubu said the electoral officials would fill some forms before the session continues.
TheIdeal News further gathered from a source close to INEC that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, is leading with majority votes, having scored the highest number of votes cast and the constitutional requirement of scoring 25 per cent in more than 24 states.
The source added that the electoral umpire will soon declare Tinubu as the President-elect.
According to the source, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), comes second while Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) occupy third and fourth positions respectively.
