Nigeria’s commercial capital city, Lagos, has been ranked as second among most stressful cities in the world.
The rating, according to the 2021 Least and Most Stressful Cities Index, was released on Thursday by VAAY.com.
The platform further claimed that in arriving at the list, it considered certain factors such as safety and security, sociopolitical stability, population density, air, light, and noise pollution levels, the amount of traffic congestion and weather conditions.
The VAAY.com also disclosed that it compared and analysed 100 global cities for indicators related to stress before arriving at “The Least and Most Stressful Cities Index 2021’.
The report reads in part, “The cities were chosen for their size and significance, as well as for their availability of reliable and comparable data.
“The study consists of 4 broad categories – governance, city, finance and citizens’ health – each made up of individual stress indicators that determine how stressful a city is to live in.”
