There seems to be more trouble for students in Nigeria as the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has extended its warning strike for another two months.
The decision to extend the strike was taken at the union’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held in Abuja last night.
Although the union is yet to make public the outcome of its meeting, a source close to the meeting held in an undisclosed location in Abuja, disclosed that the industrial action has been extended for two more months.
According to the source, the outcome of the meeting is being drafted and will be made public in due course.
