Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, on Sunday afternoon, paid a solemn visit to the graveside of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura.
During the visit, Governor Radda, accompanied by members of his entourage, offered prayers for the repose of the late President’s soul and prayed to Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
The Katsina Governor also joined the Muslim faithful in praying for continued peace, unity, and divine blessings for Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole.
Governor Radda’s visit came as part of his trip to Daura Emirate to participate in the annual Hawan Magajiya sallar Gani celebration, an important cultural and spiritual event organized by the Emirate Council to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The Governor’s gesture underscores his deep respect for the legacy of the late President Buhari and his administration’s commitment to promoting faith, unity, and cultural heritage across Katsina State.
