Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu turned heads at the latest Big Brother Naija Season 10 live eviction show, donning a stunning Obasanjo-inspired agbada that paid homage to a historic moment in Nigerian leadership.
The outfit is a creative recreation of a 1977 White House meeting between former Nigerian Head of State Olusegun Obasanjo and US President Jimmy Carter.
Ebuka, who shared pictures of the dress on his X handle on Sunday, posted, “Recreated by @deco_d29, inspired by the viral photo of Nigeria’s longest serving head of state, President Olusegun Obasanjo at the White House with former US President, Jimmy Carter in 1977.”
The elaborate agbada featured intricate embroidery and flowing designs reminiscent of the attire worn by Obasanjo during his diplomatic visit.
The famous host paired the agbada with a regal cap and walking staff and posed with a mysterious ninja-clad figure that may exemplify Carter in the historic picture.

Five months after Obasanjo visited Carter, the latter reciprocated the gesture on March 31–April 3, 1978.
Carter’s visit was said to aim at strengthening US relations with African nations, discussing critical issues like African liberation movements, and promoting US interests on the continent.
Jimmy Carter was the first sitting US president to visit Nigeria.
