…As high voters turnout recorded
The Presidential and National Assembly Elections, on Saturday, commenced as scheduled with unprecedented voters turnout across the country.
But in some polling units, our chief correspondent observed that the Labour Party Logo was missing on ballot boxes.
This was recorded at the INEC polling unit EC 30C situated at the Asokoro DIstrict.
One of the voters, who also conformed the development to TheIdeal News after she cast her vote said it was after the alarm was raised that they used a pen to include the party’s Logo on the ballot.
She however declined to mention her name.
Meanwhile, INEC officials conveying materials to some polling units arrived with the materials very late.
In federal Housing Estate, Nyanya in the Federal Capital Terittory, (FCT) the Labour Party (LP) agent insisted on being shown accredited voters list to avoid over-voting.
The NYSC electoral officer tried to resist the request, but was overwhelmed by the voters who took side with the agent.
About 750 voters were registered to vote in the unit while 650 electoral materials were made available just as 100 voters did not collect their PVCs.
