* High wire politics for Aso Rock begins

* Atiku, Tambuwal, Bala Mohammed show interest

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, campaign posters of former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, have now flooded Abuja.

Multiple sources also disclosed that Saraki,  who was the Senate President between 2015 and 2019, is determined to contest the presidential election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The sources added that the former Kwara State Governor has activated his political structures in the six-geo political zones for the prestigious post, saying that he is not relenting in his ambition to occupy Aso Rock in 2023.

The development must have explained the appearance of his campaign  posters in strategic places in Abuja including the popular Berger Roundabout in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Though Saraki and other presidential hopefuls are yet to declare their ambitions for the 2023 presidential race, our correspondent observed that the campaign posters of Saraki showed that the race for Aso Rock has just begun.

Some of the Saraki’s campaign posters read thus: “Saraki Is Coming Back, Door to Door.”
“Senator Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for President 2023.”

Theideal recalls that the presidential campaign posters of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Saraki, Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal and his Bauchi State counterpart, Bala Mohammed, featured prominently during the recent PDP National Convention in Abuja.

The campaign posters of the four PDP chieftains also sent a signal that though the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is yet to release the timetable for the 2023 general elections, high wire politics for the elective posts will soon dominate general conversations in the country.
