* Atiku attends proceedings
The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) sitting in Abuja has adjourned further proceedings in the petition by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, filed to challenge the declaration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, as winner of the presidential election on February 25.
The Justice Haruna Tsamanni-led five-member panel also adjourned further pre-hearing session on the petition till next week Thursday, May 18.
The adjournment came after all the parties agreed on modalities that would ensure a seamless and expeditious conclusion of the pre-hearing session.
It is instructive to note that Atiku was present in court to witness the proceedings.
