The Rivers State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja , on Monday, dismissed the petition filed by the governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Rivers State, Beatrice Itubo, challenging the election of Governor Simnalayi Fubara of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In its unanimous judgment, the three-man panel of the Tribunal led by Justice Cletus Emifonye dismissed the LP’s petition for lacking in merit and for failing to prove their allegations.
