Sokoto State Government has approved the posting and redeployment of Permanent Secretaries in the various ministries, agencies and departments.
This development, according to observers came at a very deserving time, when the need to infuse and regig the system has become imperative.
A statement by Abubakar Bawa, the Press Secretary to Governor Ahmed Aliyu listed the posting as follows: Lema Sambo Wali to be Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Muhammad Bello Ibrahim, Ministry of Commerce, Habibi Isa Waziri, Environment, Almustpha Abubakar, Agriculture Abubakar Tambuwal, permanent secretary, Ministry of Skills Aqcuisarion and Entrepreneur.
Other Permanent Secretaries and their postings include, Almustpha Yahaya, Ministry of Science and Technology, Hadiza Galadima, Youths and Sports, Ni’ma Hassan, Culture and Tourism, Lawali Sada, Social Welfare and Humanitarian Affairs, Ibrahim Kangiwa, Works, Bashiru Maigari, Ministry if Information and Orientation, Usman Arzika Bidinga, Home Affairs, Ibrahim Haliru Dingyadi, Ministry of Health and Sani Tambuwal as Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance.
Also posted are Ahmed Abdulkadir, Local Government Affairs, Ibrahim Binji, Special Duties, Abubakar Alhaji, Women Affairs, Ladan Aliyu Isa, Solid Minerals, Mohammed Yusuf Bello, Ministry of Transport, Kabiru Garba, Water Resources, Sayudi Almustpha, Department of Security Services, Aminu Bello, Department of Careers and Special Services, Aminu Rijia, Local Govt Service Commission, Shehu Wali, Establishment and Sani Sada Isa for Admin and General Services.
The Chief Press Secretary also quoted Governor Aliyu as directing concerned persons to do handing and taking over before May 6 while a copy of the hand over should be transmitted to the office of the head of civil service for record purposes.
