The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has addressed the appearance of fuel queues noticed in some parts of Lagos and a few other locations around the country.
The Management of NNPC Retail Ltd. in a statement on Thursday gave the reason for the fuel queues.
It said they were a result of reduced Depot loadout in Apapa, Lagos State for a few days.
According to the statement, the root cause has since been addressed.
“We assure all Nigerians that there is ample supply with sufficiency of at least 30 days,” NNPC said.
“Motorists are advised to desist from panic buying as distribution will normalize over the next couple of days.”
