The Supreme Court , on Monday, reserved its judgement in the appeal of presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, seeking to present fresh documents to support his appeal.
The fresh documents are President Tinubu Bola’s academic records obtained from the Chicago State University.
Atiku is challenging the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) in Abuja which upheld President Bola Tinubu’s election.
A seven-member panel of the Supreme Court led by a Justice of Supreme Court (JSC), Justice John Okoro, adjourned the case for judgement after taking the arguments of lawyers to parties in the suit.
Justice Okoro further said that a date would be communicated to lawyers when the judgement is ready.
