Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, transmitted the list of his 39 cabinet nominees to the Lagos State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The Lagos State Government also disclosed that the list, comprising 39 names, is a mixture of politicians and technocrats.
But some members of the immediate past cabinet, including former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso; his Budget and Economic Planning counterpart, Mr. Sam Egube; ex-Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi; ex-Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Aramide Adeyooye and his Education counterpart, Tokunbo Wahab, made the list of new nominees.
New faces like Mr Lawal Pedro (SAN), who is expected to the Lagos Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Oreoluwa Finnih-Awokoya, Lekan Fatodu, Idris Aregbe and Mrs Toke Benson- Awoyinka are part of the nominees for the incoming Lagos cabinet.
