The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has said oral sex is not a sin when practised between married couples, a declaration that has sparked debate among Christians and social media users.

Speaking during a recent church service, in response to a member’s question on whether the act is sinful, the cleric maintained that the Bible does not forbid such intimacy in marriage.

“Anything you do with your wife indoors is not a sin. So long as it’s your wife and both of you agreed,” Suleman said in the now-viral video.

“I know many will not agree with me, but oral sex is not a sin.”

The preacher further argued that sexual practices only become sinful when tied to fetish, ritual, or diabolical acts, stressing that intimacy between husband and wife remains sacred.

“When the Bible was talking about the wife of your youth, what do you think the Bible was saying?

“So long as it is not fetish, a ritual, or diabolical, it’s not wrong. I know that many of you will say you can’t use the same mouth you use to serve God to perform oral sex, but don’t you lie and gossip with the same mouth?

His stance has triggered mixed reactions online. While some hailed him for what they described as a practical and liberal approach to marital intimacy, others criticised his position.

An X user, @UTDVenom, queried: “This one na pastor?…giving head is not a sin keh… Nawa o.”

Another user, @FolajeuwoNelson, wrote: “Oral sex is disgusting, I wonder how human beings discovered they could do that.”

But @Seth_exchange defended the cleric’s statement, tweeting: “Yes, it is not sin as long as you’re doing it with your wife or husband.”

Others, however, dismissed the teaching outright. @Davies7Moore reacted: “Jail up this man asap. Like see what a man of God is saying.”
